Established in 1985, our Power Controls Oviedo facility initially specialized in the high-end niche market of developing sensors, probes, monitors, and data logging systems for complex, sophisticated combustion turbine and nuclear installations. The company has been a preferred source for solving difficult problems encountered in these areas by such giants as Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation and FMC Corporation, among others.

During the process of developing unique solutions for sensing, probing, monitoring and logging all types of electrical, mechanical, and chemical factors, we developed a superior means for transmitting power to the various types of sensors and probes while delivering feedback to the applicable gauges and monitoring equipment. We call this technology breakthrough “E-Plex”.

Since those first days of installation in turbine and nuclear sites, we have engineered a wide range of other uses for this technology. This revolutionary architecture is currently being installed and marketed to the boating, yachting and motorcoach industries and is the first product of its type that can be effectively utilized in virtually any electrical/mechanical/chemical system that requires monitoring.

We continue to be a valued supplier to organizations such as Siemens-Westinghouse. And now we have other customers who are enjoying our technology and receiving the benefits of the E-Plex architecture.
