E-Plex

The integration of all electronic systems into a common shell with the ability to distribute the Information simultaneously to strategically located control/monitoring stations is becoming the standard rather than the exception.

E-Plex is an intelligent multiplexed I/O system that answers this requirement by integrating all monitoring, control data logging and remote access capabilities into one user-friendly system. It not only transmits and receives data, but also provides power through the same 2-wire network. Because the system is self diagnosing and error correcting, E-Plex eliminates costly maintenance.

E-Plex replaces the need for vendor-supplied, incompatible control systems by providing relay modules and input modules including simple switches, temperature sensors and tachometers that are mounted directly onto the device or machine they control, regardless of manufacturer. E-Plex open architecture permits interoperability that allows manufacturers and end users to install a wide range of electronic equipment at any time during the life cycle of the vehicle, system or vessel with little or no expert assistance. All of this is provided in a small package that can fit almost anywhere.

In a typical motorcoach, boat or yacht, E Plex can control & monitor:

The E-Plex System

The E-Plex system includes an entire family of sensors, controls and display panels. It utilizes a proprietary GUI based programming tool called E Logic for laying out the design, simulating the system and generating the code necessary for programming the modules and even provides a costed bill of materials of the E-Plex modules used once the design is completed.
